Over the past year, Seventh Generation Interfaith's Board of Directors and staff have been engaged in a careful process of discernment about the organization's future. After conducting strategic planning work, gathering input from members, and exploring potential models for sustainability, the Board reached the difficult conclusion that SGI cannot continue in its current form and has initiated the process for responsible closure.

SGI is committed to honoring its history, supporting members in continuing engagements through other partners – including the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) and Ceres – and providing guidance and care for staff.
